Project Fail Update – Photos of Paper Cup Wreath

As promised, photos of my failed paper cup wreath.

I know it doesn’t look too terrible, but you can see the wonky patch in the upper right corner and the entire wreath is over 24 inches wide, which just seems really awkwardly large.  Plus, either because of the size, or my glueing technique, the whole wreath is flimsy and changes shape when you pick it up.  If I were to hang it from a ribbon it would probably have more of an egg shape over all.  And yes, I’m a perfectionist, but I just like to be proud of my finished products, and I’m definitely not proud of this wreath.

But, on the positive side of things, I found a restaurant supplier where I can buy the right size paper cups, so I will make a second attempt!

Okay, yes, it’s a tad wonky in that one spot, but if you tie a beautiful, wide satin ribbon and hang it from that spot it will be fine! Cream = elegance and I kind of like oval wreaths.
